"Volunteering with the Kingston Uganda Program, during the October half term, was one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences I’ve been a part of. Having the opportunity to work alongside staff and children within the primary schools, especially the Island School, was truly unforgettable. It was a privilege to support and empower teachers through collaboration, shared learning and classroom practice, while also learning so much from them in return. The dedication, resilience and warmth of the staff and pupils was remarkable, and the joy, enthusiasm and kindness of the children made every day incredibly special. The entire team involved with the Kingston Uganda Program were exceptionally welcoming, organised and hospitable from beginning to end. We were made to feel safe, valued and very well looked after throughout our stay, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in both the school environment and the local community. Living within the community itself gave a genuine insight into the culture, traditions and everyday life of Uganda, which made the experience even more meaningful and authentic. It was not only educational and impactful, but also great fun and personally enriching. What stands out most about the Kingston Uganda Program, is the passion and commitment behind the charity’s mission to improve the lives and opportunities of as many children as possible through education and community support. The positive impact they are making is clear to see, and it is inspiring to witness firsthand how deeply valued their work is within the local communities. I would highly recommend this experience to any educator or volunteer looking to make a meaningful contribution while gaining an unforgettable cultural and professional experience.."

"The connection between KUPARTS and local schools is completely organic. As volunteers, we don't disrupt patterns; we simply bolster ongoing goals. Nile rafting was an extraordinary bonus!"
