KUPARTS — the Kingstone Uganda Project Africa Rural Teaching Scheme — is an initiative developed by Mr Matthew Milburn to create a meaningful bridge between UK volunteers and the schools and communities of Kingstone Uganda Project.
We welcome anyone from the UK — school leavers, graduates, working professionals, career breakers, retirees, or anyone who simply feels called to serve — to travel with us to Uganda and contribute whatever they uniquely bring.
Teaching, sport, healthcare, computing, music, art, farming, business, cookery, or simply willing hands and an open heart — there is a place for you.

Students & School Leavers
Just finished GCSEs, A-Levels, or a degree? KUPARTS is one of the most meaningful ways to spend time before the next chapter begins.
Professionals & Career Breakers
Teachers, nurses, engineers, IT workers, artists, farmers, coaches — anyone using a sabbatical or career break to do something that truly counts.
Anyone With Something to Give
No qualifications needed. A skill, a hobby, a trade, a passion — or simply willing hands and an open heart. If you want to serve, you are welcome.
UK-Based Volunteers (18+)
Currently open to anyone based in the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over, who can self-fund their travel to Uganda.

Do I need qualifications or professional experience?
Not at all. KUPARTS is genuinely open to everyone. What matters most is your willingness to contribute and your respect for the community. Any skill, background, or attitude can make a difference here.
How long is the programme?
Placements are flexible — typically 4 to 12 weeks. We work with each volunteer individually to find a duration that suits their life and circumstances.
Is KUPARTS a Christian programme?
KUP is a Christian organisation and our values reflect that faith. However, KUPARTS warmly welcomes volunteers from all faiths and none — what unites us is a shared commitment to serve Uganda’s children.
