About the School

Education Where It Is Needed Most

Busagazi Community Primary School — affectionately known as The Island School — extends KUP’s reach to children and families in a unique and often hard-to-reach community in Buikwe District, Uganda.

For many of the children who attend, this school is their only realistic access to education, care, and the hope of a better future. KUP’s commitment here is simple: no child should be left behind because of where they live.

Through this school, KUP delivers primary education, child welfare support, sponsorship programmes, and community outreach — making it far more than a classroom.
