Three Programmes.
One Purpose.
Everything Kingstone Uganda Project does centres on one conviction — that every child in Buikwe District deserves education, opportunity, and a future. Our three programmes work together to make that a reality.
From the Classroom to the Stage to the Workshop
We work on the ground in Buikwe District, Uganda — partnering with local schools, families, and community leaders. Our approach is holistic: supporting children in school, nurturing their creative gifts, and equipping young people with skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Education & School Support
At the heart of KUP's work is the belief that no child should miss out on education because of poverty. We provide direct support to children in primary and secondary schools across Buikwe District — ensuring they have access to learning, school materials, and a safe environment in which to thrive.
Through our child sponsorship programme, supporters in the UK and beyond commit to walking alongside an individual child — covering school fees, uniforms, and essentials, and receiving updates on their progress.
- Support for primary and secondary school children
- School fees, uniforms, and learning materials
- Pastoral care and child welfare follow-up
- Child sponsorship from £25/month
Arts & Culture — KUPARTS
KUPARTS is KUP's creative arts programme — a space where children and young people discover their gifts, build confidence, and express themselves through music, drama, and visual arts.
We believe creativity is not a luxury; it is essential to a child's development. KUPARTS uses the arts to build life skills: teamwork, communication, resilience, and self-belief. These are qualities that stay with a young person long after they leave the stage.
- Music, drama, and visual arts workshops
- Performances and community showcases
- Building confidence and creative expression
- Open to children and young people in the community
Talents & Skilling
For young people who have grown beyond school age — or who need a different kind of support — our Talents & Skilling programme provides practical vocational training and life skills development.
We partner with local trainers and community leaders to equip young people with skills that open doors: from tailoring and carpentry to digital literacy and entrepreneurship. The goal is independence — young people who can support themselves and invest back into their communities.
- Vocational and practical skills training
- Life skills and personal development
- Pathways to sustainable livelihoods
- Supporting young people toward independence
A Whole-Life Response to Poverty
Our three programmes are not separate silos — they are a connected pathway designed to walk with a child from primary school through to adulthood. We meet children where they are, and we stay for the long term.
Foundation in Education
Every child deserves access to school. We remove the financial barriers that keep children out of class.
Nurturing the Whole Child
KUPARTS ensures children grow in confidence, creativity, and character — not just exam results.
